So Much To Do, Not Enough Time
Hello friends! Hope you all are crafty, lol. I am frustrated. And, as it turns out, that is why I am writing this post. I’m frustrated, not only at myself, but the constraints of time. Since I started the Yellowwolf Creations website I have been trying to keep working on it daily, making changes and updating information. I didn’t want my site to be static and dull. However, having time to work on it everyday has not worked out so great.
First of all I suddenly realized how much time went into the work. Plus I began with no experience whatsoever. Second, when I started setting up links on the site one thing led to another and before I knew it I had even more accounts and links. Now I not only have to update the website, I also have to update the YWC Facebook page, the YWC TikTok page, the YWC Youtube channel, and my Writing.com Portfolio. I realized that it would do no good to have links to those pages without keeping updated information. So it’s really like keeping up with five websites.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining, I am happy to do it, but I am frustrated because I can’t get information added to the site quick enough. There is still so much I want to upload to the site. I will get it accomplished, but it will take a little longer than first expected. All I ask is for everyone to be patient with me as much as possible. If you don’t see any new material after a few days, even a week, I promise it’s coming.
Remember I am looking forward to hearing from you. Whatever is on your mind just let me know. I will get back to you as soon as I can. I hope your creative juices are flowing and, most of all, I hope you’re enjoying what you do. Thanks to everyone for your cooperation.

To Stitch or not to Stitch
It seems funny now as I look back on it that in the beginning I was hesitant to try needle art (needlepoint, cross stitch, sewing, and so on). I was partly afraid of what people would think of a grown married man doing what most people think of as a woman's craft. What I didn't realize was that before the industrial revolution, eventhough sewing in general in the home was a woman's job, as a profession nearly all sewing jobs were performed by men. It wasn't until after the industrial revolution that sweatshops began to pop up and women were hired to fill a lot of the sewing jobs, often at extremely low wages. I didn't know this at the time, but I gave needle art and sewing a try and I was hooked. suddenly my joy for the art greatly outweighed my fear of persecution. At that point I really nevery looked back.
So please don't let preconceived ideas like that stop you from trying something your interested in. Really what it all boils down to is the joy and pleasure, of the art or craft your doing, gives to you. If I let myself worry about what other people are thinking I may as well sit in my recliner all day and do nothing. Some people will always find something wrong with what your doing. I love to do needle art among other things that may appear to others as a gender sided art or craft. I refuse to let that stop me from receiving the joy and pleasure that the art or craft brings me.
