Hello Everyone!  I'm finally here.  I had always wanted to have my own website/blog and just didn't know where to start.  To be honest I was a little intimidated about the whole process.  Finally, the time was right and I knew if I was going to succeed I would have to dive in head first.  I am still unsure of what I'm doing but I'm here to give it a shot and I'm always looking for pointers.  If you have any ideas please let me know.  If not please be patient while I figure it out.  And before I go any further I would like to give a shout out to the free web builder Simdif.  I have tried many times in the past to create a site on many other platforms and failed, but Simdif made it so simple.  Please check it out at:  https://www.simdif.com/en/  (I was not paid or asked to promote Simdif, It's just a great app)

So where did this journey begin?  Well, I consider myself an artist.  I don't draw or paint very well, but I have always been creative.  My journey into art, crafts, and writing began many years ago.  I spent years creating Native American items such as  jewelry, dream catchers, among other things, (you can check these out in my YWC Gallery Page) and had always integrated the subject into my writing.  Over the years I slowly progressed into every kind of craft imaginable, and then I found leather work.  I feel like leather working was the culmination of all that I had learned.  The one thing that was always a constant though was writing.

Where am I headed with this site/blog?  I thought that it would be nice to have a place where I could, not only showcase my creations and get feedback on my work, but reach people with similar passions and share ideas and techniques.  I wanted a place where I could post tutorials and write blog posts about new ideas and techniques.  Basically I just want a place where anyone interested can delve into all things Artsy,  Crafty, and Creative Writing.

I'm on a journey, but I hope I'm not on this journey alone.  I really hope anyone interested will take this journey with me.  So, please dive in, and if you are like me and don't know much about this online thing, we can learn together.  If you have website/blog experience feel free to chime in.  I'm always ready to learn.
